I agree 100% and I realize that I'm kinda in the wrong for using that to justify it, it's a shame it happens at all and my heart goes out to all the affected families

Innocent people get hurt by crime and innocent people get put in jail, it happens all the time in every country, especially in the U.S., by no means am I saying it's a good thing for an innocent person to get affected by something they didn't do, but how do you stop it from happening?

It doesn't matter if they were in a gang or not, crossing an international border illegally is a crime, and yes, some of these people DO want to work honestly, but they can enter the country legally
