I'm an anti-capitalist, leftist, tree-hugging, hippie.

I'm both exceedingly earnest & pragmatic. Which at times can seem contradictory.

I am always looking for greatness in life, art, people, & society.

I cannot abide cynicism or apathy. Forever optimistic that people are good & can do good.
EVERY generation believes the ones AFTER them are disrespectful & lazy, and the ones BEFORE them are old & out of touch.

Compromise is necessary for a functioning representative democracy.

However, it is a MEANS not an END.

It's something you do in order to accomplish a larger goal.

It's not something to be celebrated in of itself.

The idea that both major political parties are "bad" is true.
What people get wrong is they aren't EQUALLY bad. #FalseEquivalence

"This weekend I'm going to catch up on everything & get things organized"

Repeat every weekend, ad infinitum.

Generally speaking Republicans/Conservatives don't care about policy. They don't care about hypocrisy. They don't care about ethics & morals. And they don't care about character and judgment.

All they care about is their hatred for the left and opposing any policy the left supports.

The Democratic party says they want to fundamentally change the economic order, in order to benefit low and middle income people.

While increasingly relying on high income donors to compete in elections. And generally high income donors are not interested in upsetting the economic status quo.

Wanting a living wage isn't greedy and wanting to work a little less and live more isn't lazy.

How to know you have internalized capitalism:

- You determine your worth based on your productivity

- You feel guilty for resting

- Your primary concern is to make yourself profitable

- You neglect your health

- You think "hard work" is what brings happiness

Google's former motto was "Don't Be Evil", they seem to be failing that by capitulating to stupidity & insanity.

After the conservatives went crazy. Democrats should have stopped concerning themselves with following "decorum" and focused on simply getting things done for the American people.

I always find it hilarious when people with no medical expertise give you medical advice.

Once I had bad vertigo. Everyone gave me their opinion & advice. One said that I needed to get a chiropractic adjustment.

Turned out I had Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. No chiropractor was needed.

I keep seeing articles and videos putting forward population decline hysteria. They argue that starting in the late 1960s, there was an over-population hysteria.

Except on a planet with finite resources, endless growth is unsustainable.
