Not really. I’ve been hunting down c2c scans for the letter columns and original newsprint colors but it’s been tough.
Most sites prefer to keep the digital versions and delete the scans. Some are available on archive.org and I’ve had a lot of luck on libgen (but its tedious for bulk downloads).

Rewatching the whole trilogy back to back just makes it a worse conclusion to a trilogy.

Like literally all of the things you listed above happen in X-Men comics, especially in the Claremont run.
But what made it work was that it served that particular story and character/s. The best X-men stories deal with robots, aliens, magic, demons, etc.

I also feel tired with the forced inclusion/reminder of a shared universe. But you only notice it when it doesn’t serve the story.
A shared universe is rich for storytelling. It only started to feel forced when the comics company started looking at their characters as IP and not story material.

I haven’t resubscribed since they introduced the ultra tier but I’m interested in going back. Have they done any significant changes or improvements?

Theres plenty of Elseworlds that take known stories and just add Batman or Superman to them. The Superman Frankenstein comes to mind.

Its also hard to separate the art from the artist for sandman. His name is all over the cover (literally the same size as the title) and his self-insert is the lead.
