NEW — Some US Institute of Peace employees just received an email from the independent agency’s new Trump-installed president, per a copy shared with me.

They’ve been told to pass along this email to other employees (???) and to telework indefinitely.

I’m sad that Strix magazine is closing, even though I never got a story in it. Good thoughts for everyone involved, especially for the health status of the editors.
