I do the same thing to manipulate my kids:
“Yes, you are so right! It’s unfair that you have this ENTIRE worksheet of math homework. But let’s just get it done so everyone can get off your back about it. Then I’ll let you have this candy! (and go to bed, so mom and dad can have a drink in peace)”.

After feeling so bitter and frustrated since the end the playoffs, I’m now really looking forward to October. The bad taste is suddenly gone and I’m surprised how calm I feel about all of this. This team is SO much more likeable… just like that.

Beautiful! My 9 y/o son also loves to paint along with Bob. So great to see another generation inspired to discover the joy painting can bring :)
