Forty years ago today at Buckham Gallery. Three years later I would be in NYC occasionally working as Allen's roadie or gopher for performances and events. The world is truly a strange and wonderful place.

At plenty of venues it is standard for crew to give younger acts a hard time. Someone working the stage at the old Local was being a dick to kids playing their first show and the sound guy caught it. He shouted "𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲." Kindness goes a long way.

Nice 65' Electra 225 peeking out at Bill Lamb's Record Shoppe, 1st St. and Brush Alley. This building was demolished soon after to make way for the Genesee Towers project.

A growing percentage of people making phone calls have no idea why pressing numbers on the screen is called "dialing a number," and pressing a red button is called "hanging up."
