At first there was some plan on taking the site down after some amount of time, but hasn't happened yet or they backtracked.

I was working at UPS at the time unloading trucks. I feel like it was a week or two before 9/9 that the trucks came through. Everyone under the age of 50 was trying to find ways to 'oops' a box beside the truck 😂

Explaining the divergence is always a struggle. I know @richcampbell.bsky.social is working on a full history and has great talks, but living through it is still the best way.
