I’m actually really surprised you haven’t watched Mr Robot. You seem like the type of person to recommend Mr Robot and you’d of been the reason why I watched it. I’m pretty sure I watched it because @leolaporte.me was talking about. Great show, one of my all time favorites.

Mine came in handy once! The whole box! I had a house fire, causing mostly smoke damage. I got good money for every one of my cables. Great deal. No worries, I started a new box since!

Pipeline people don’t buy EVs? Are you being playful or is that a stat you have? Or are you just using a judgment stereotype?
I agree with you, they likely don’t, but there are a lot of different reasons for that.
Buying EVs isn’t a bar to pass to be responsible person here.

Longer it goes the more I think SMR are white whale that will never happen. Thinking “too good to be true” is fitting in there. But I want to be believe.

Most of us have heat pumps already. I’m looking into buying a 3rd. Love mine. But pipelines create jobs which enable people to buy EVs. I’m in the process of going solar, upgrading insulation and that HPWH for my 3rd HP. I’m going efficient! Not yet an EV, money doesn’t work yet. I like the mach-es

I disagree that oil products aren’t viable. But I will agree we should diversify investments in many sectors.

You can produce hydrogen from crude. It’s just not as easy, clean, or efficient. My overall point is crude oil refining produces a lot helpful by products. And Canada needs to lean into manufacturing and our resources to strengthen our economy against people trying to take it away. We need to invest

NB has a nuclear power plant which they can barely operate and keep running. Oil makes more than just gas, like clean Hydrogen that you want. And we need the gas. Plus it buys the oil out west instead of the pipelines going south. Right now they dangerously ship it by “dirty” rail across the country

Get an old side slip down toaster. They last forever simple solid parts. And they make the BEST toast. Toasted on the outside, soft on the inside. I’ll never use a newer toaster. They took amazing toast from us.

I use my laptop monitor and one monitor, but it’s 4K and I snap to corners so really I have 5 monitors.
