Back in my Air Force days, wearing cover indoors pretty much guaranteed you’d buy the bar a round that night… I still think wearing a hat indoors is either disrespectful or a sign of poor upbringing.

He’s not a legacy and he’s not from a wealthy family, so he most likely actually earned his admission and diploma. That means he actually knows he’s lying (he just doesn’t think most people are smart enough to see through his lies).

That's not fair to Justice Taney - at least he thought he was pushing back on executive overreach (albeit on a morally repugnant issue) instead of creating a president-king.

It's not just Sesame Street - lots of "classic" children's programming from the '60s and '70s have the same themes woven through them. Watch "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" with that in mind, for instance...
