I listened to this on Audible - made an even deeper impact hearing your words in your own voice. As much as it's a valuable resource when debating fake christians, it gave me a refresher in my old CCD classes and reconnected me with the source of my own values. Thank you, John.

Saw/loved your FB post on this topic. Rudolph wasn’t the only “subversive” character in the story…

Political flameout/shortest acquittal ever. Because Sen Kelly retired as an O-6, the panel would have to be of flag rank - you know, all those folks with stoic looks of incredulity on their faces when Whiskey Pete did his song and dance. The Senator should push the Pentagon to do it…

There's a debate? Roger Taney was a rank amateur when it came to corruption and he sure as hell never prostrated himself before the Executive Branch...

He’s not a legacy and he’s not from a wealthy family, so he most likely actually earned his admission and diploma. That means he actually knows he’s lying (he just doesn’t think most people are smart enough to see through his lies).

As a once-upon-a-long-time-ago "dipshit 2LT" myself, I don't recall any of my cohorts being that stupid, disgusting, racist, sexist, and frankly traitorous. A donkey would do a better job...

That guy deserves a Nobel - with one act of impudence, he fundamentally changed the dynamics of the situation. Ridicule is far more effective against these people than rhetoric…

Maybe it’s not about his presence in those files, but about the presence of others (Supreme Court justices, key donors, members of Congress, foreign dignitaries, etc)…

Nah, it’s more straightforward graft - pick a large supermarket chain whose CEO gave bigly to the Trump campaign, and you’ll find someone trying to shut down competition.

That's not fair to Justice Taney - at least he thought he was pushing back on executive overreach (albeit on a morally repugnant issue) instead of creating a president-king.

It's not just Sesame Street - lots of "classic" children's programming from the '60s and '70s have the same themes woven through them. Watch "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" with that in mind, for instance...
