Your favorite nobody.
Early railroads got support from local and federal Governments via a variety of methods. During WW1, the railroads were completely taken over by the federal government, it was known as the USRA era. In the 30's the New Deal funded several railroad infrastructure projects.

I’ve always wondered, what if keeping these guard members deployed forces their employers to hire workers to work in their place… would that artificially raise the employment numbers?

I’m a Democrat, but I also know it was Mississippi Dems that were leading the charge at the time. Thankfully the party has come around.

Break up the railroads!

You start with the voters, because they can always vote again and again and again. Until they can be stopped, this cannot be stopped.

Now is a time when we need political reporters more than ever.

They heard you worked for NBC and personally knew the NBC peacock.

The problem here is, it is likely the men in the room wanted her out too. Idaho is super conservative and probably home to several militias.

And if Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear runs for his seat, the Dems have a very good chance of picking up a seat in the Senate.

I feel bad just asking Mitch McConnell to stand. He might fall down, again.

I like Pete, but let’s be realistic here. He has zero chance of becoming President in the next two election cycles. Why waste the time on a candidate that won’t win?
February 14, 2025 at 5:52 PM
It’s possible to do both. You can do the performative bullshit with your message and still be a great politician when in session.
February 14, 2025 at 5:29 PM
That’s why Dems have to put up candidates that have a better chance of winning. Voters are always going to vote certain way, so you present the candidates that Americans are most likely to vote for.
February 14, 2025 at 5:22 PM
My bad on 2020. People not voting is still a sign of a bad campaign/candidate.
February 13, 2025 at 5:58 PM
Yeah. They should have run a better campaign in 2016 and 2020. Trump is a dumbfuck, losing to him twice is pathetic.

I’m GenX and can say, we’ve known the world marketed to younger people when MTV stopped playing Nirvana and Pearl Jam and started playing Britney and *NSYNC.

@jeffpearlman.bsky.social has been speaking out about it for awhile.
