I never saw that one. I remember the SEGA ones, though.

Here is the result. This was a low effort experiment. You can see where I bumped the cara a few times during recording.

This just made me aware of too many nightmare scenarios. To move his LoS to a physical SIM, they wanted me to first tell them what validation code they sent, which was impossible to retrieve from his phone. I had to get it sent to his friend and call them from my phone to get the validation code.

...I also found out he is on a plan with one of his friends in California. I had to convince that person that I wasn't a scammer so that I could be added to their account and go to a T-Mobile store and get his LoS moved to a SIM. That took 3 days. I'm staying on a physical SIM as long as I can.

...after all, the best way to keep info confidential is to not have it. In the interest of personal data security, the child just will not have access games that have implemented such security measures. We want no involvement in a Discord/Zen-Desk situation with biometric data.

The child plays online games with her friends. Now, one of the online systems wants her to allow it to do a face-scan to place her in an age cohort. While safety is appreciated, we do not trust even well-intentioned actors to be highly successful with keeping data secure... 😕
