I cannot stop thinking about All Of Us Strangers.

It’s one of those rare movies that feels like it was made for me, personally.

I don’t know what to do with that. Except appreciate it. And point to it for others to see the kind of things I hold in my heart.

This video has stunned me into a state of questioning how I've tried to experience my own life.

My career—my identity—is wrapped up in the notion of telling stories. As such I've come to view my life—all lives, really—as a story.

Examining this notion more critically now to see if that's useful.

sometimes I think about the time I got a ticket from the city of New York for throwing away “household garbage” into sidewalk trash can

i was fined over $100

i swear I did no such thing

to this day I’m convinced a roommate dumped a bag of trash that included junk mail addressed to me

but justice

I keep forgetting there’s once again a place for me to shout my intrusive thoughts into the void
