And still, due to people's driving skills being shit with those big cars, they end up making anyone a living hell by parking too close for anyone to get out comfortably... even themselves. I would not be surprised if the trend to make slots small is passed down here.

The big difference is that with most new buildings with parking lots, the construction companies made each slot bigger to accomodate new car models and trends, along with making parking lots huge. Obviously, old buildings has smaller slots and they need to repaint them to fit new big cars.

I said I'm not in the US, but people behave like we live in there (Northern Mexico.): They buy big vehicles, there's awful public transit but nobody cares because everybody prefer using cars, and those who use the big SUVs and trucks think they own the streets.
