Can’t decide if I’m going to be sincere or snarky here.

Will probably just post my most basic, boring thoughts. You've been warned.
Out of curiosity, I searched again and got a completely different paragraph with four major factual errors. It's learning!

I typed "black and white best picture nominees" into Google and their helpful AI Overview feature spit out this paragraph with only four major factual errors (and one minor one). Definitely worth dooming us to a Mad Max-like future.

Credit where due, the Post corrected it (the thing about Dustin Hoffman winning the Oscar, not the bogus use of Donald Trump’s full signature in a comparison to his first-name only signature).

Guess @washingtonpost.com has just given up on fact-checking. If something as easy to disprove as Dustin Hoffman winning an Oscar for Tootsie can find its way into a pre-written obituary, what other wholly made-up “facts” are they printing these days?

I answered my fourth spam call of the day. It was an A.I. robot wanting to “talk” to me about Medicare. Warn the seniors in your life about these scam calls if you haven’t already. The A.I. bots are getting better at almost sounding human. And the scammers clearly know they have free rein now.

Over the first 19 days of January, I received five spam calls. Starting on January 20th, I’ve received spam calls nearly every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. Anyone else experiencing this fun side effect of our new griftocracy, or is it just an annoying coincidence?
