Right! That’s where the secondary hand here got the information from. Gen 11 follows the line of Arpachshad down to Abraham. And Eber is of course on the way.

The J genealogy of Shem begins in 10:21. In J, Shem is the father of Eber. Goes straight from 10:21 to 10:25. In P, Shem is the father of a bunch of people, mostly notably Aram. 10:24, though, has Arpachshad (a P character) as the grandfather of Eber (a J character). It’s a bridge verse.
