We're still fighting the dry air below 10,000 feet. Red line is the temperatures and green is the dew point. When the 2 lines are spread apart it means drier air. Raindrops mostly evaporate falling from the cloud. JL #mowx #kswx

So we have a combo of dust (D) and smoke (S) on the late day satellite image. Tough to break it down more and there is dust in that smoke (S) region. The smoke is from OK mostly. This is truly a remarkable storm. JL #mowx #kswx #kcwx
