I like to turn wooden bowls on a lathe and one thing I love about it is that I’m continuing a tradition of bowl making that can be traced back to as early as humans began making tools. It’s so cool!

Think this will have enough stability? Client commissioned it as a holder for her and her family’s pool cue bags. Still got to figure out a foot configuration that’s stable without taking up too much room

I’ve worked with this stuff to make a pen! It’s a really interesting material, if you’re not cutting with a razor sharp blade it will flake like crazy due to the layering. Really fascinating stuff, attached are some pictures of the blank I worked with
