Saw Bob Dylan last night at the Swansea Arena (great venue). Still going strong in his 80s. I hope I still have that much passion for writing when (if) I reach his age. True inspiration. And also fitting he’s finally performed in the city where Dylan Thomas was born, who inspired his stage name.

Just finished “The Palm-Wine Drinkard” by Amos Tutuola - what a wild and wonderful read! Protag. goes in search of the spirit of his deceased palm-wine tapster and meets spirits, strange creatures and godlike persons along the way (and gets up to some incredible feats too)
