From the sunlit uplands of the Wirral.

Happiest when travelling, running, eating, petting any sort of friendly animal and building Lego. Also partial to a cinema trip or three.

Be nice if we all got along, no?

Very well deserved, Liam. Congrats!

Completely anecdotal, but I was on a cruise recently and nearly every Canadian I got chatting to, ended up bringing Trudeau up in conversation (unprompted!), and it was always something negative about him. Definitely didn't seem popular at all!

It's an absolute cesspit. Even disagreements on here are normally done in a respectful way, which is just impossible on that hellsite over there now!

I really hope the bill passes but I have a sinking feeling it won't.

Unless there's more to come out that's being cynically held back, I just don't get why this is a resigning offence? The conviction was spent and surely Starmer will have known about it following the background checks that all Ministers are subject to before starting their roles?

This charlatan rejected the salt and sugar tax that was proposed while he was PM. And now he writes this utter guff? I wish he would just go away for good!

It's a shame he's even referrenced this load of old twaddle. Gives it a very slight air of respectability which it obviously doesn't deserve!

This the 'Klopp peaking from behind the wall' replacement from you now after a Liverpool win? 😂

"He's on the wikipedia page!" - loved that line. Loved the film.

This bill is only for people with 6 months or less to live, and their decision has to be signed off by 2 doctors, and ratified by a high court judge. The safeguards put in place are strong, in my opinion.

I get the feeling lately that this bill is doomed to fail. Such a shame. General public opinion is so much more in favour of having more dignity in dying and the choice in doing so.
