Not yet, I hope. But people are fatigued. Exhausted from the fresh hell that keeps appearing in our news feeds. Reluctant to engage in what may feel like pointless conflict since the deed is done so to speak.

Gender affirming care saves lives and creates tax paying Americans who can live and work and contribute to the economy and to this country. It seems so counterintuitive to deny them care. So many young ones will end their lives if they can’t have affirming surgeries and care. It’s barbaric.

We really want something to hang onto that affirms that the results couldn’t possibly be the will of the people (or at least those who could and did vote.) it’s easier to get fired up about a perceived wrong than to accept the reality in front of us. I think that’s the bargaining or denial phase.
