Maybe this is just because the show is condensed but the impression it gives me is that the outcomes of the war repudiate Krishna's advice - and Krishna himself comes out looking at best deeply flawed by the end.

And if we teach aggressors that aggression works and will win them concessions, that will make the world more violent and sociopathic, not less.

I do however think we can do better than the current terminology - terms like "egalitarian", "hierarchist" and "cruel" would I think be less slippery and more useful than "left", "right" and "far" respectively.

Well, it's for good reason that "unknowable purposes" is no defence in a court of law. I don't think it should be enough to let God off the hook either.
