I'm so happy to see someone defend 'The Motion Picture' that I completely missed that you said 'Search for Spock' and not 'Save the W-' I mean 'Voyage Home'.

'Star Trek III' was my first theatrical Star Trek film.

Greene is a compass, but instead of always pointing north, it's always pointing toward whatever makes her another buck.

This example works better if you assume the compass is racist as well.

Like, I dunno. Hitler's compass?

To be fair, one of them was Kirstie Alley, so I'd say pop culture dodged a bullet there.

Republicans are the fucking Einsteins of "taking something good and finding a way to do evil with it".

Ironic because so many of them are against both smart people and Jewish people.

The image cropped part of his name, so it took a moment or two for me to stop wondering who in the hell "Justin Hoffman" was...

I heard/read somewhere that De Hart has that deer-in-the-headlights stare while "singing" the Shimmy Slide because he was hopped up on pain pills after throwing out his back trying to carry Wings Hauser the night before.

Even if that story isn't true, god, I want it to be true so much...

OJ, Epstein, Weinstein...

I'm starting to get the impression that having Dershowitz as your attorney is evidence in and of itself that you're guilty of whatever crime you're charged with.

I once read Libertarianism described as "anarchy for rich people," and I have never heard it better defined since.

Same.

If being underappreciated is a crime, the way 'Popeye' (1980) was regarded by critics and general audiences is the equivalent of Goldfinger knocking over Fort Knox.

Ever hear of rats leaving a sinking ship?

Admittedly it's been a long time since I was an avid FPS player, but from the outside looking in, I have to ask:

"There's a difference between new and old 'Call of Duty' games?"

Establishment Democrats realize that if they let the young'uns win on racial and trans justice, the next step will be financial justice and all their wealthy backers will start to feel the pinch.

I'm a Democratic voter by default (always lesser of two evils) and the last time I was excited to vote for one was in 2008.

But even I am amazed at how so many I respect HATE Sanders, and I have to accept that it isn't just the Republicans playing "team sport politics".

I likely won't watch the film, so please cut to the chase:

Does he still give Killian the middle finger from the airplane window as it's about to smash into the skyscraper?

That is LITERALLY the only thing I remember from the original novel when I read it back in the 1980s.

I was amazed the other day to learn that 'General Hospital' was still running.

I miss the days when age and physical or mental infirmity would require a politician to retire.

What gender is "couch fucker" anyway?
November 14, 2025 at 2:36 PM
Every Republican policy for "America" makes more sense as long as you mentally append "White" in front of that word.
November 14, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Hah!

Used to watch this all the time on LaserDisc back in the day!
