Facing a few years of uncertain and unsettling times... all created to boost the fragile ego of a criminally convicted rapist and psychopath with no moral compass. Shame on the dark forces lining up in the Supreme Court and elsewhere to support this crook.

Culture war language gets layered on top. When Joey Mannarino says woke culture has “devastated Western civilization,” that claim plugs directly into those foreign city visuals. Personal discomfort and aesthetic disgust get upgraded into a civilizational emergency.

This works by elevating anecdote over baseline reality. A theft in Thailand, a beach fight, or a chaotic subway clip is treated as representative of entire societies. Viewers are nudged to see ordinary variation in public life as proof of irreversible breakdown.

Domestic incidents are folded right into that same storyline. The violent NYC train assault becomes less about facts and more about fear, with arrest headlines used to reinforce the feeling that danger is everywhere. Paris, Brussels, New York all get blended into one ongoing collapse

Rob was the big-hearted genius behind many of the classic stories we love, with projects as wide-ranging as The Princess Bride to A Few Good Men.

His boundless empathy made his stories timeless, teaching generations to see goodness and righteousness in others — and encouraging us to dream bigger.

That empathy extended well beyond his films. Rob was a passionate advocate for children and for civil rights — from taking on Big Tobacco, fighting for marriage equality, to serving as a powerful voice in early education. He made California a better place through his good works.
