Throwing anything at someone is a crime, even a sandwich. But this is absurd. We have a trial where they're discussing what a sandwich looked and smelled like. It's like a scene from a bad sitcom. Just give him a fine and everyone can move on with their lives.

There's a proposal in my town to put up a solar farm, but there's significant push back from residents nearby because it's "ugly".

Which makes zero sense. We have no idea what AI will be capable of in 10 years. Why are we removing our ability to regulate it? This screams "oligarchy". The only people who want this are the oligarchs developing AI.

"Anybody can win a U.S. Open." If by "anybody" you mean a professional golfer who lost the Players Championship to Rory in a playoff a couple months ago... then sure, "anybody" can win it.

Also, I'm a Mariners fan living in upstate NY. I'm a 6 hour drive from NYC. But the Yankees and Mets are on cable TV here, so if the Mariners are playing either of them I can't watch that on MLB TV either.

We need to stop calling the polygraph a lie detector. There is basically zero proof it works and it shouldn't be used as one.

The amusement park near me used to have an enclosed Scrambler that was similar. Basically a laser light show with Sandstorm playing while you spin around. It was my favorite ride.

My hair curls a bit if I grow it out... But I'm also going bald, so I think that cancels out any overheating protection it might have.
