The NFL style system DOES require cheaper owners to spend more. It has a floor.

Bottom tier owners spending more in theory equates to a more equitable talent distribution. As it is now teams that don’t spend incubate talent for teams that do spend.

I stopped drinking the premade stuff like seven years ago (I carbonate my Crystal Light) and SAME.

Oh, it is, but clearly they felt differently.

Ask the people who made American Psycho 2 and the comic book.

This has been a thing with superhero comic fans since long before TLJ was ever a twinkle in Rian Johnson’s eye.

Thank you for the response!

The music definitely worked for the game, but wasn’t to my taste. It wasn’t something I could see myself listening to outside of the game unlike say, Mass Effect Trilogy, FF6, Disco Elysium, or Where the Water Tastes Like Wine (some of my favorite game soundtracks).

Doom is mainly concerned with Latveria, always. It's one of his many flaws.

Tiger Wylde, and then Doom returns in 2099. 🙃

BTW, in 2001, Marvel published a mini by Steve Englehart and Mark McKenna, Big Town where Reed's inventions do change things. It's never been reprinted AFAIK.

You're right, it's just implicit because Marvel can't let Richards actually change the world. Ellis and Cassaday lampshading it for everybody though made it hard to consider that character without that aspect though.

Doom concentrates his efforts on one area, Latveria, but he overthrew a brutal dictatorship and immeasurably improved the lives of its people with his tech. He's arguably accomplished more good for more people than Richards or Stark.

Heroes, yes, but not the average person. Everyone should be wearing clothes made out of a fireproof material. It should be standard! The problem with your argument here is that there is someone far more successful at changing the world for the better than Richards-- Doom.

I was typing a reply about Richards knowing Stark when I got a notice about this. There is zero reason why they shouldn't be teaming up on this. Also, Stark is no angel. His "villains" are traditionally corporate rivals and communists. Funding the Avengers is the only heroic thing he does, really.

... world and will always look identical to Randall Dowling because he doesn't change the world for the better with his super science.

... everyone on Earth 616 isn't wearing unstable molecules. Never mind anything else Richards has done/discovered, that alone is a world-shaking discovery that should be everywhere. But Marvel cannot follow through on it. As a result, we're left with a Reed Richards who can never really save the

The critique of the FF inherent in the Four is that they hoard tech and discoveries without sharing them. The FF doesn't do that either because it would change the 616 from being the world outside our window. Writers on the book, if they bother to address it, have to come up with some BS about why

Ben Percy did Beast dirty though.

Xavier was always suspect. Is it anti-intellectual to point out that he was assembling armies of child soldiers? Richards was wrecked by the critique of him in Ellis and Cassaday's Planetary back in 1999 and has never really recovered because the structure of the Marvel U won't let him.

Deadshot. I received The Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told for Christmas when I was 8, which reprinted the Deadshot Ricochet by Englehart & Rogers. In early aughts, I picked up Ostrander & Yale's Suicide Squad run from back issue bins, and Villains United started soon after that. Love Lawton.
