Every year I make a new set of valentines based on my current obsession. I've started watching Star Trek Voyager. This is the result, haha. You can see the rest at joe.gottli.com/valentines

Last year I put together a large-scale art installation with a bunch of CRT screens called TeleVisions. I created a ton of media for the screens themselves, and promos for the project. Here's the final promo I put together for the project.

I also have an art installation - TeleVisions - up until the end of January. Nine TVs that refresh every 60 seconds, and play (fake) commercials, infomercials, test patterns or segments of a larger videos that can span across multiple screens. youtube.com/shorts/5DncN...
Check out TeleVisions at the Niagara Artists Centre!

Related to the Halloweenies, I created a poster for the card line as if it were an old magazine print ad - lots of copy, and glamour shots of the cards and illustrations.

I created my own Halloween trading cards, heavily inspired by Garbage Pail Kids, called the Halloweenies. There were 14 different designs, and each pack came with a random set of cards, a checklist, and a stick of gum. I even made the rare cards holographic.

I did a multi-layer illustration of the Metaluna Mutant from This Island Earth (and the MST3K movie) for a Halloween monster art show.

I am so bad at making updates on this site, but if you're interested, here's a bunch of stuff I've done in the last little while.

Cherry blossoms are back a week earlier than last year and that's probably fine, right? Shoes by Keebler.

Every Valentine's Day since 2018, I've made a set of valentines that no one has asked for. This year, in cooperation with John Travolta Industries, I designed a set of twelve Valentravoltas. Check em all out, along with all the valentines from years past, at joe.gottli.com/valentines/

Don't you hate it when you see your favourite woodworker has posted a new video, but then you wait a day to watch it, and then their channel gets hacked and it starts livestreaming crypto stuff? This has happened numerous times now.

Here's to the #3 biggest movie of July 1996, which I took my family and friends to for my 10th birthday party, and as of last week, own on VHS.

I took part in Inktober 2023 this year, and drew a little ghost based on each day's prompt. I collected 'em all into a fun 3-colour risograph poster, just in time for Halloween. Want one? You can grab it at joe.gottli.com/product/11x1...

Here's a brand new risograph poster I designed for my market on Sunday. Celebrating the opening of my university's most distinctive building - the Arthur Schmon Tower - in 1966. I absolutely love how risograph colours pop!

I've got a market coming up this weekend put on by my alma mater - Brock University - so I figured I'd make some Brock-adjacent stuff. These are two all-felt flags - a nice dropcap B, and a badger based on a '60s jacket patch they have on display at the university. Fun!
