I’ve seen so many call this style “cynical” which just doesn’t make sense to me. “Drunkass” — joyous, fluid, but with big potential downside risk of crash out — is so much better.

University of Minnesota hot take: Williamson Hall is a glorious modernist underground concrete oddball. I wish my department would move here. It’s as close to Vancouver cool as we are likely to get. Ofc everyone here hates it.

There are really about 4 different climate zones for MLS teams. There's probably no way to make all the teams happy. I live in the frigid blue zone. For us, we really only have those summer months for outdoor sports! For us here, the shift would be a disaster.

The logic is that the shift would better align with the Euro leagues (and frankly, probably to cater to the preferences of certain high-priority MLS teams). But the problem is, in the US any shift is a matter of winners and losers. The distances/climates are just not on the same scale.
