VAR is "fine" but a goal matters much more than any other point in sports.
A Goal used to be pure ecstasy and joy, but now waiting until VAR figures if it's actually a goal or not somewhat diminishes that initial joy.

VAR is "fine" but a goal matters much more than any other point in sports.

This is why I'm not upset about all the Dodgers/Ohtani love.
He's an all-time great, he's charismatic & he's on an incredible team that plays high-profile games.
They should be the center of the sport.

I don't mind him saying it.
I just hate that it props up SAS (who has unfortunately become the face of sports journalism). Also don't like it happening on Pat's show (dislike barstool style programming).

The thing I hate is he's stooping down to Stephen A Smith.
He never engaged with Skip, and I'm very happy for that. He's giving SAS what he wants.
