Freakier Friday is just as fun and silly as the first. I will never tire of seeing Jamie Lee Curtis act like a teenager. JLC is one of the GOATs. This is a legacy sequel that understood the assignment. Go see it!

I watched The Accountant 2 last night in Dolby Cinema. I had a great time watching it, but it is much different from the first movie. This movie was more of the buddy cop trope. You have two people working together that have a lot of disdain for each other. Way less Math and more Shooty-Shoot.

The Monkey was awesome! It’s my favorite thing Osgood Perkins has done so far. It’s silly and stressful. It’s whimsical and grotesque. It was a treat. Theo James pulls double duty with the best kind of performance. Horror continues to deliver.

Watched Red One in Dolby tonight. It was as stupid as you expect but still fun and has some endearing qualities. JK Simmons is a pretty good Santa. I could see it getting into the Christmas movies rotation.
