Obvious small sample caveat but in 38 minutes with Z and DQ the Pels have a +22 net rating. That’s borderline impossible with how bad the Pels have been this season.

I agree with you on NAW. I think I’m just a little less willing to put them in the same tier as some of the other East teams with a little more proof of concept (ORL and DET mostly) that aren’t quite as reliant on guys like Jalen and KP that are frequently unavailable

I think you’re spot on with this stuff. I’ve been thinking for a while that the momentum from the Hawks trade has led to the media being too high on the Hawks and too low on the Pels when the trade itself will have very little effect on the basketball those teams will play this season.

Just fyi because I looked into it recently, passes/100 has a reasonably negative relationship with oRTG. The issue being that most teams that pass more turn it over more. The Pacers ability to avoid those turnovers while passing as much as they do is pretty historic. Can the Raps do that too? Idk.
