P&P has walks to town with window shopping, and references to purchases of hats and trim, but no scenes in stores. There's a reunion of characters in Persuasion because certain of them have come to Bath explicitly for shopping, but again, no store scenes.

We have two sets from the prior owners, basement and attic. Basement also has a very large mirror.

The rules are pretty light, which makes it a nice one shot game. You don't need much more than explaining the rules and the use of questions to determine what you add to a die roll. You can explain conditions when (if) someone actually gets one.

Gorgeous! I love the effect of double knitting but all that k1p1 takes forever for me.

There's also delayed effect. You succeed in stealth-ing now, but leave behind clues that increase your Heat or whatever.

Some systems also allow for non-physical damage, so it could be so close a call that your nerves are completely shot.
