I guess my memory is hazy-for some reason I thought it was down the street from the museum. When you’re able to make it back that way, I recommend staying over in downtown Decorah, it’s a charming college town with natural beauty surrounding it.

Did you stop by the Billy Brothers Museum by chance while in Spillville? When my wife and I visited the town several years ago, on a hot August weekday, it felt we were the only ones existing in the tiny town. One of the most memorable day trips I’ve ever had.

My 94 year old mom watches Twins games all summer and Game Show Network reruns in the winter and I attribute this as a strong contributing factor to her positive mental health rather than wallowing in Fox News in her golden years.
