(Another thing is that the particular nature of human irrationalities making important decisions now is just terrible stuff. But decision-making always been infected by it, I think somewhat better that it’s more apparent in this era.)

I would say that my Age of Craze theory suggests it really ultimately was fairly similar materially, but thing that’s different is that by receiving the unfiltered thoughts of elites, everyone realizes how nuts that is

I mean, part of reason that it won’t be apparent is that we’re all used to green screens and CGI in everything. We slopped it all up already.

The video tools have gotten very powerful; problem now is more that too good than looks weird or unsettling, though still some of that too. Just so little won’t be apparent in most contexts or with bit of editing.

I mean, there’s terribly offensive and very well done AI stuff now too (making fun of Kobe Bryant is one meme), I can bemoan it despite it looking real and being able to get me to laugh

There’s also only like three bad AI shots in there, I just watched. Someone made a choice to leave those in. There’s just good and bad, and matrices for judging.

The unfiltering in the Age of Craze has revealed that all people are at times crazy, not sober, emotional, otherwise irrational etc… So you can’t really trust what anyone says. Putting a robot in-between I guess helps with that.

People seem prone to believing truths from robots where they wouldn’t believe them if they read them in the newspapers that were scrapped. It’s centralizing in a way that will be interesting.

Fits in with my Age of Craze theory where unfiltered thoughts from nutty elites (from the social media and hand computers) have eroded value of central truths. Things have hence headed pre-modern, with more local sources of knowledge, like shaman etc. Tribal. But the AI is force running counter.
