Books with Black/brown characters and LGBTQ+ characters are getting banned because banning books is the first step towards banning people. Contact your local library and school board and tell them you support the freedom to read, for everyone.

I wish my branch would do this. We always used to do displays. But they're trying to "stay under the radar."

It's maddening. And I can tell you that some of the libraries are rolling over in advance by assuming that the budget will pass and not even telling their patrons this is a five alarm fire.
