That squishy thing at the bottom is useless. I have had a batch of raspberries from Costco for three weeks and they are still fine after doing what I mentioned earlier. If I leave them in the store packaging they start to mold in less than a week.

The trick is to line a storage container in a paper towel, put the unwashed berries in and seal. Rinse before eating. They last way longer!
