What I can't figure out is are we midtable because the squad is that level. Or will coaching make the squad better, maybe even top 4/6. Turnover of squad and coaches has been enormous and we seem to go backwards. City aside we have only really beaten championship quality in PL and ECL

I fully agree. The chopping and changing killing any rhythm or chance of building understanding. TF needs to wise up or just go away

I thought it was an orange card. Too late for yellow. Too low for red. Maybe introduce orange as a 20 minute sinbin in football as they have for rugby union red card?

Alastair in the summer you correctly identified that Spurs needed to find a more stable coach situation after Anges sacking. If Spurs want to have the chance to get closer to the top PL sides. So do you think TF should be given longer or should he go now?

Would also like if someone could analyse role of Hotspur Way. Best facilities around but creating too much luxury and wrong team work ethic. Something not right there

Carrick is a good call. Mckenna also for me. Both have clear structure and tactics. TF lost in tinkering- talking of lopsided formation inexcusable.

Three games per week too much for this squad. Home has become hell. TF should have a style and drill it into the squad. Stop the too much attention to the opposition and the tinkering that goes with it. We have good players but they need a style to work with. Coaching manual 101

We should be much more cohesive after 5 months. He's a fiddler. And we have not bought for counter attack. Not sure what we have bought for to be honest

I don't think a team can switch formation so often in PL. Teams are so engineered and drilled. Tactical agility within the formation not through the formation. Find a style and stick with it. And Danso for long throws? Give it a rest TF!

Great day to be Irish! And TP cries in the post-match interview. Unbelievable hattrick and to be honest none of us thought it possible when they had 1 point after 3 and had to beat Portugal and Hun. Magic!

I don't watch anymore. TF is pragmatic and flexible but the football is incredibly dull. Fans will stop paying soon

In itself the article is not bad from the socio-economics perspective by the social affairs correspondent talking to her network. Linking to chemicals and sperm counts as well as climate change and over consumption is not possible probably. And maybe editorially unwelcome? Too many angles?
