The best advice I could give to other artists?! Join your local arts group! There will be women of a certain age, christmas hampers to donate too and raffle prizes but, there will also be inspiration, demos, workshops and encouragement!

"Don't Engage, Just Block" is having a real effect and you can tell it's frustrating the bots, chuds and trolls. They're in my comments trying everything they can to get people there to react -- and no one's biting. And then I swing by and chuck 'em into the cornfield and that's that.
As long as we keep a culture of disengaging and blocking trolls we actually can probably keep the vibes up.
