Roses are still blooming. But not for long! Rain, wind and chilly nights are just around the corner!

Beautiful bright yellow rose bud showed up. With the rain, wind and colder nights the roses will be disappearing soon. One of my favorite roses just bloomed again. I thought they were done blooming, but in between the rain and sun coming out, it must have thought it was still summer! The blooms won’t last with the cold nights, rain and wind.

We luck out this past weekend and saw the Seaside Sandfest 2025- talented artists creating amazing sand sculptures on the beach. We got to see the artists in action. What a treat!

Pretty sunset this morning and three hours later, gloomy clouds. It was 60 at 8:45 this morning and finally the sun came out and it warmed up to 78 this afternoon! Yesterday it was 92! Very hot for us!

Beautiful sunset mixed in between the clouds! The forecast was for 78 degrees, but these clouds certainly didn’t look like it would be this warm. It was only 60 and a bit chilly. Luckily the clouds blew away and the sun finally came out and it did get up to 78! Yesterday it was 92 degrees, which was hot for us!

This cactus flower is gorgeous! The plant is over 40 years old. Half of the time, the plant looks like it is dying. I inherited it from my Mom after my brother said I should take it. I used to get 1 or 2 blooms a year. Now it bloom several times a year. The booms seem bigger and are gorgeous!
This is a beautiful red bloom from a cactus like plant. It gets huge and only lasts a few days. It boom randomly several times a day. When I inherited it, it only bloomed once a year. Beautiful catus bloom. Not sure of name. I inherited this cactus after my mom passed away. The plant is not attractive but it produces a gorgeous bloom. It only lasts one or two days.

The roses love our warm weather! Everyday they seem to bloom overnight bringing so much color to the garden! These are Jackson & Perkins. The white one is one of my favorites, JF Kennedy.

This rose has so many flowers in bloom. Just a couple of days ago, the were just buds. They are orange red. Large pink rose from Jackson & Perkins. Such a beautiful rose.

The roses are starting to bloom. The other day they were just buds but with the unusual warmer weather, they are seem like they all bloomed at once! They are so large this year especially the red one.

The mountain certainly was out and beautiful yesterday! Trying to capture the mountain while husband is driving down the freeway! Have to wait for a clear space without trees, wires, buildings, trucks and cars!

More flowers for a colorful yard! The deep purple iris was beautiful, but the wind and heavy rain knocked them over! Got my geraniums, pansies and daisies potted for a colorful yard!

The azaleas, rhododendrons, cherry blossoms were so beautiful this Spring. The flowers were so big and colorful and lasted longer than normal because of our warm weather. We did not have the usual rain, cold and wind.

Cherry blossoms. They were very pretty this year. Glad the rain and wind didn’t show up early so that we enjoy the flowers longer! This is a rhododendron called Unique. It had lots of blooms this year. A rose colored rhododendron. A dark pink azalea in full bloom. This is the most blooms it has ever had.

Rhododendron starting to bloom this pre spring sunny day! Plant is blooming. Not sure of name but it is pink. It started blooming in fall, survived winter and is full of blooms. Crocus is a sure sign of Spring. Very pretty deep purple. Daffodils are starting to grow! There is a couple of flowers peeking out.
