2️⃣ CDSS is in the middle of a once in a generation overhaul of its data infrastructure, bringing together all of its legacy data systems into a unified, cloud-based platform. We’re uniquely positioned to use admin data to break down program siloes and “stitch together the safety net”.

1️⃣ we are an applied research shop: our goal is to generate insights that can improve CDSS programs. But we don’t just answer questions on-demand. We want to proactively identify problems or opportunities for improvement and contribute to a body of knowledge about our programs.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping our portfolio of research projects while leading high-impact research aimed at improving department policy, decision-making, and service delivery.

The role:

You’ll provide technical direction to others, review and provide feedback on research or code, and develop guidance on how to implement well-documented, reproducible, and technically rigorous quantitative research about CDSS programs and the people we serve.
