Backdrop according to BuiltWith has about 1727 live sites. The repeated delay of D7 EOL mostly killed that. LTS support is going to cost more than most can afford. Another CMS is also expensive. I bet most will simply hang on to D7, same as the 10 thousand sites still running D6. Opinions? 3/3

What are the options for those 265K site owners that built their site 9 to 14 years ago? Most of them haven't upgraded because they can't afford to, so a migration or rebuild in Drupal 11 is out of the question. LTS support? Backdrop? Another CMS? Or? 2/3

Anemic growth in the 1st half followed by stagnation. Drupal CMS needs to break the trend. We have one shot at this.
