The Democratic Party establishments would, in most countries, be classified as a right-wing party, between conservatives and neoliberals. It’s no surprise that anyone slightly left-leaning considers it too much to the right. I can’t imagine how any sane person sees it too as lefty

Well to be honest the blackmailing response was in an extreme situation and with strict constraints. It also wanted to call the cops when faced with wrongdoing, which might be a higher ethical standard than most humans 😅.

An important reminder for trials to capture outcomes of interest so that an adequate risk-benefit analysis can be done. If concerns exist around long-term outcomes such as long COVID, those need to be trial endpoints.

Grande intervenção. Se o acordo depende do cumprimento de direitos humanos, que instituições judiciais já provaram estarem a não ser cumpridos, o acordo não pode ser suspenso pela via judicial?

Não sei se esse nível de linguagem faz muito sentido. Equiparar um mandato de deputado a um tacho normaliza aqueles 60 grunhos que vão para lá esquecer-se que estão a ser pagos para fazer um trabalho.

Sempre que defendemos medidas para proteger os mais vulneráveis nas redes sociais, liberais e extrema-direita gritam que estamos a limitar a liberdade de expressão. Talvez com este exemplo se perceba a mentira. Quem defende regras nas redes, está a defender a liberdade na vida.

If a first decision was later changed at appeal or in court, insurance companies would have to pay a 50% fee + 20% interest on the money they withheld. Would solve the issue overnight.

The chemical/natural dichotomy does not exist. The source of a product does not define how healthy or good for you it is, only the structure of the molecule. Many very potent chemotherapies are derived from plants, and they’re still very toxic if not administered correctly.
