I do think of it that way, and I think that non-literal ALT text defeats the purpose. If I use it, I want it to work as intended for people who can't visually process an image. I am likely to post only images that I don't mind describing literally.

I have noticed that and I'm feeling rebellious/resistant about it at the moment. I'm processing why I feel that way and whether I am going to assimilate ❤️
