Sort of retired, trying to figure out what to do with my time...
Our house in Florida had marble windowsills because of the humidity dripping down the windows. Does Trump think the Kennedy Center audience will be unusually wet on their arms?

30 years ago our family was driving from one district to another in Kenya. Suddenly the road became terrible. I asked our local friend, "why?" His response, "they didn't vote the right way."

My dad told stories with too many unnecessary details (afraid I have that tendency). The last summer we visited I sat with Dad and he began a story that never got to any point. Never did figure out what he was trying to say, but he chuckled through it so he thought it was funny.

When we dealt with government officials in Kenya, files "would go missing" as if they did a walkabout all on their own. The official was usually looking for some "chai" to find the file. My boss would put paperwork in a colorful folder so it was easier to spot.

Looks like your cats could be siblings of our cats.

I often walk into a restaurant thinking my husband is right behind me. He, however, has stopped to take a photo of the pattern on the base of the light pole.

Most medical waiting rooms these days seem to be airing "home improvement" shows.

My husband and I just had a "Spring" COVID booster because it was recommended. We're both over 70 and don't want to get hit with COVID when we travel this summer.

I'd say he's definitely in the running for anti-Christ.

I just sat down to knit, read Decoding Fox News and drink coffee. I suddenly have a purring cat on my lap. I guess I'll be here a while. I know the rules...

Our cat's favorite toy is 2 chair cushion ties knotted together. This toy is currently hiding in an undisclosed location because she will bring it to us in the middle of the night with much vocalizing.

Cause Trump is such a massively great manager doncha know, he would turn Canada around from its downward spiral. Do I need to add "snark?"

Their loyalty makes them the best and the brightest... because only "the best and the brightest" would choose him. Snark

We lived in Orlando and watched the Challenger explode while standing in the parking lot at work. A new employee asked, "is it supposed to do that?" as pieces of the shuttle went in different directions. Our 3 year old loved the 'pace shuttle. So many sad conversations followed.

Our cat has her claws so blanket or towel to protect our clothes from snags. Putting a blanket on your lap is an invitation.

Working from home this morning - the cat stuck her head in the Team meeting so all saw her. I let them know her 11 am lunch was nearly there.
