NZ wastewater COVID19 surveillance dashboard update. poops.nz The levels detected are relatively low and there is a mixed bag of variants tracked and reported, including the first detection of BA.3.2 in NZ (albeit just in one sample a few weeks ago & hasn’t been detected since.

Updated NZ wastewater COVID19 surveillance Dashboard. We do update it every other week, (& sorry for not posting on it though). Variants updated every 4 weeks. MC.10.2 showing a fair proportion…Check out poops.nz. FYI- Polio wastewater surveillance ongoing too & nothing to report there - all good!

poops.nz Updated NZ wastewater COVID-19 surveillance dashboard. Up to week ending 5 January. Decrease in number of samples collected over the holidays as may be expected….Samples from 9 sites instead of 11. Variant data will be updated in 2 weeks.

poops.nz New Zealand wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. Variants tracked include XEC - noting a variation on proportions on variants week on week can be expected especially when low concentrations of total virus levels are being detected. (Apologies for delays and absence of notifications).

poops.nz Updated dashboard - New Zealand wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. From 11 sites, 10 submitted samples last week, so slightly down in % coverage. A sequence run planned for next week (including next weeks samples, so variants in next update).

poops.nz Updated dashboard -New Zealand wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. Week ending 7 July. Nationally, levels decreased again. Levels at most of 25 sites tested are less than 4 weeks ago. Variant analysis on up to 20 sites show that KP.3 is at 65% nationally by week ending 30 June.

poops.nz Updated dashboard -New Zealand wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. Weekending 19 May 2024. Increase 📈trend nationally in SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels in wastewater. KP.3 was at 22% weekending 5 May (delay due to seq machine issues). Another update on variants next week.

poops.nz NZ wastewater surveillance. Still COVID-19 testing wastewater :-) Levels & variant displayed on easy to use dashboard. JN.1 dominates. Levels steady (ish). This surveillance informs on COVID-19 (for example) without the need to swab anyone. Simple.

poops.nz Week ending 21 Jan_wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. Overall, a slight downward trend observed but noting fluctuations over the last month or so, and site differences (📈and 📉). Nationally JN.1 at ~70% (up to 14 Jan) and similar (more or less) % at all sites.

poops.nz Week ending 17 Dec_ wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. Overall, national levels were up compared to week before, noting largest catchment (AK Eastern) drove some of that. Levels and trends vary though. Week ending 10 Dec, percentage of JN.1 increasing nationally &detected in all sites.

poops.nz Wastewater COVID-19 surveillance_🇳🇿Aotearoa New Zealand. 💩Nationally across 41 catchments, elevated levels persisting. Several variants tracked include JN.1 & BA.2.86, but wide XBB group dominant-particularly 🔼EG.5 and lineages.

poops.nz updated for NZ wastewater COVID-19 surveillance. Levels relatively low. Finding of the day is the detection of the highly divergent BA.2.86 in New Zealand wastewater from two of the 20 sites tested (purple). Note-detected before clinical case!
