Author. Reader.

In my defense, I'm a lover, a fighter, and hell- I just want everyone to love who they want.
trying to find a home to share a novel I'm presently working on:

Marnette, daughter of miners, is trying to take down an entire coal industry; teams up with Issabeau, daughter of an upperclass business owner, in a steampunk inspired world. LGBTQ positive.

my next (eventual) read is this beauty: "Private Rites" by Julia Armfield... her last book "Our Wives Under the Sea" was such a poetic tear jerker, I ordered this one as soon as I heard it was coming out. Can't wait to jump in!

while on lunch been reading through this, "Hammajang Luck" by Makana Yamamoto, it's as if the heist movie Oceans Eleven was an all female cast in a Sci Fi futuristic version of Hawaii. #scifilit #skylit #makanayamamoto

have you read this? I just finished it in between writing my own book. fantastic short story collection- complex creatures ruining lives, creating lives- a story of alien plants will make you shed a tear, .. that last story, holy heck I didn't see that twist! (maybe Shyamalan could take some notes)

mail call!

an uncorrected proof of "hammajang luck" by Makana Yamamoto!

described on the back as Oceans 11 meets Blade Runner. What's not to love in a sci-fi book written by a Hawaiian / New England writer!

Grabbed this book on a whim. "Martin and John" Like the Movie, "The Fountain", or the book "Cloud Atlas", short stories written about love/ loss with Martin & John as the main characters in each. Outside of time but at the same time. Lovely. Nothing is stronger than the love between two men.
