Likewise our two ukiki kuri plants (can never remember how to spell them lol), have got about 3 fruits between them. A lot of fruit just shrivelled up. Started removing the male flowers as so many of those. One butternut squash plant and 4 fruit…

Have to say I was a bit miffed on Friday morning. First chance to listen to the radio for weeks and they were at Heaton Park building up hype for the concert that evening….🤬

Did you stop off at Waitrose? 😃

I’d forgotten all about that, having suspended all international sales on my website. Such a PITA.

I don’t have any advice I’m afraid but it’s ‘interesting’ to read there doesn’t seem to be any further clarification months down the line 😏

You like broad beans then? Do you do anything fancy with them?

Our site is fairly large and there’s two halves to it. There may be others on the site but it’s quite easy not to see them usually

Last year we had four plums on our tree. This year there’s loads! Not as laden as yours but lots more this year. Our tree is Czar I think. One plum was huge; never seen a plum so big!

I bought it quite a few years ago now. There used to be a show at Ally Pally called the Edible Garden Show. It’s called a Sussex trug. It was from a business based in Sussex but I can’t remember their name I’m afraid

I’m a bit vague on which ones as my other half planted them 😬

Our first earlies were Rocket but I’m not sure if some of them are Kestrel as they have a purple blotch on them? The first batches of spuds were planted out in early March I think

I’m still trying to accumulate enough rhubarb for my first batch. Got about a kilo so far 😏

I did wonder how it was holding up after a few windy days here 🤣

I’ve got one plum rootstock. Was hoping to graft a nice little cherry plum to it. Have lost access to the cherry plum tree now 😫
Also got an apple rootstock as our plot neighbour has a really tasty apple tree and was hoping to propagate our own tree using scions from his tree…

I’m not sure whether my plum bud grafts from last year have taken or not yet. Nothing much doing on them, although they look like they’re fused onto the rootstock.
I need to try again with scions on my apple rootstock but that’s not looking very alive!
