Britain is in a hole. Real wages have barely risen in 17 years, and the public realm is fraying. Our politics is increasingly fractious as a result. The underlying reason? The biggest productivity slowdown in the G7.

It's horrendous.

Makes more sense than the Home Sec. It's an illogical policy which discourages integration. Labour seem to sink further each day.

How can that encourage integration? 😱

Well that's my vote decided for Holyrood next year - & it. won't be labour. Anas Sarwar must have his head in his hands.

The labour party has become something unrecognisable.

As a child we always had chicken on christmas day. I often choose to have something other than turkey as it is my least favourite meat. Didn't know turkey was compulsory!

I am furious at the arrant nonsense coming from Mr Trump - he deserves ( & does not need) any of the money from my licence fee or taz. He has destroyed his own reputation & an edit from a programme broadcast a year ago & which he has never mentioned before now has not changed that!

And how often does the president watch BBC & GB news? He should keep.out of other countries' business

But the Daily Mail etc say the problem is too many managers🤔. It's a very large organisation - it needs good managers to allow clinical staff to use their skills where they are needed

Noone us worth that kind of money

The tories are so predictable - and permanently outraged. When you consider the behaviour of some of their MPs in recent years then they would be best to keep a sense of proportion. Just showing their irrelevance

Are you supposed to be a serious journalist? I despair at the level many journalists have sunk to. No wonder viewing figures for terrestial tv are falling.

Shows how much attention the Westminster bubble pay to events outside London! As a resident in Scotland I am much more interested in elections for Scottish Parliament as those elected are responsible for much of our day to day life. Westminster is a bit of an irrelevance.
