And tasty! We’ve been gorging on them and still had plenty left over for the winter.

I got a female kitten for my old boy after he lost his two dogs in the same year. He was ready to die—even stopped eating. The little girl changed everything! He’s 17 and tears around after her like he was 8.

I'm keeping my long covid-impaired lungs at home today, but I'm wearing my favorite t-shirt.

I appreciate that, but the crosstabs show it was weighted to include a representative sample of voters. Tbf, the under-30s had the closest split on tariff support--50-50. But to your point, all age groups also acknowledge that it will probably raise prices for them. We're a nation of nihilists.

My boy Watson stopped eating last winter when the dog he grew up with died. It was getting dangerous, because he's an old guy, and it took medicine and special food to get him to eat. Then we got him a kitten, and it's all better. Though she thinks he naps too much.

Meet Sally, Watson's new companion since he lost his dogs. He's less than thrilled, but at least getting interested. Anyway, I'm already being a bad kitten mom.

We had to say goodbye to this littlie yesterday. Belle made it through congenital liver disease, diabetes, and cancer, but an enlarged heart proved to be just too much. She was the friendliest, happiest girl you could ever imagine and brought untold joy for the almost 15 years we had with her.

Today in slow learning. Was McCarthy asleep for the last 13 years in Republicanism?

My faithful COVID companion Watson, hanging in there for day 11 and the Paxlovid rebound phase of this thing. And I was so hopeful after a negative test yesterday. Sigh.

Watson has been my COVID nursemaid, loving this opportunity for uninterrupted cuddles. It would be a lot more endearing if it wasn't 100+ degrees out there and my house had air conditioning.

The Oregon coast is just the best place ever, even when you're a little old and a little blind and a little deaf. It's Belle's happiest place on earth.
