Did you know? Irish vets shamefully enable cruel hare coursing by certifying hares "fit for coursing". The Veterinary Council (Tel: 01 668 4402) is refusing to act despite its professional code of conduct compelling vets to treat animals “in a manner that safeguards their health and welfare”.

At the moment, people only catch bird flu if they are in direct contact with infected chickens or other birds, but of those infected with H5N1, almost 50 per cent have died. That’s a terrifying mortality rate! The Government needs to take action but instead, all we hear is silence. #birdflu #govegan
