Yep, that's what we did, and then paid it off early, long ago. We haven't had a mortgage payment for 18 years. But we were fortunate that we were able to do that. Most people can't. (We did buy far less house than we could afford, and that was key. Also, having no children.)

The difference is that technically, as far as we know, the U.S. military isn't directly killing Palestinians. (Yes, we're funding it, but not doing it ourselves.)As for drone strikes, probably somewhere, but they're not proudly advertising at the moment.
